L’attività aerobica, come la corsa giova a tutto l’organismo, tanto che l’Organizzazione mondiale della Sanità la raccomanda per invecchiare bene.
Ma il running è molto di più. E’ uno dei modi migliori per liberare la mente, attivare i sensi e connettersi con la natura circostante.
Le connessioni tra la corsa e il cervello sono state indagate da numerosi studi neuroscientifici.
Molti iniziano a correre proprio per perdere peso ed effettivamente l’attività fisica mette in moto processi che portano a bruciare più calorie e quindi associando corsa ed alimentazione sana, controllata e bilanciata si ottiene il risultato di perdere peso, che non avviene sudando di più.
Quindi sfatiamo un mito: sudare non fa dimagrire.
Il ginocchio del corridore è un problema molto comune ma è inesatto dire correre fa male al ginocchio, è più giusto affermare che il modo in cui si corre può far male.
La mancanza della corretta tecnica di corsa è il problema.
Bisogna migliorare la conoscenza della corretta tecnica di corsa per evitare problemi all’articolazione.
Questa è una questione ancora aperta. e non c’è evidenza scientifica che ci dica che abbia effetto sulla performance.
Meglio fare un riscaldamento efficace e che prepari in modo dinamico i muscoli.
Dopo la corsa per rilassare la muscolatura è utile assumere la posizione di squat naturale.
La risposta è SI.
Oltre a tecnica e mobilità, per correre più veloce servono anche forza, elasticità, resilienza.
Fare potenziamento aiuta un corridore già esperto a rafforzare le parti del corpo necessarie a sostenere un aumento del ritmo: muscoli, tendini, articolazioni, legamenti.
In un allenamento funzionale alla corsa sono due gli esercizi irrinunciabili utili a migliorare muscolatura e postura: il plank sugli avambracci e il ponte per i glutei.
